Please provide a description of yourself, your character/alt name, and a sample roleplay post. Also, all staff members are required to follow and obey the rules themselves while enforcing them.
Along with the following, please answer the following questions.
1) Is OOC chatter allowed in the IC area? In ()? In []?
-No, unless necessary, then only in ()’s or []’s.
2) Are you allowed to ban/repeatedly eject someone from the dream?
-Only when serious rules were broken, or repeated breaking of rules, and then get permission from owner.
3)How often are you on Furcadia? For how long have you had the game?
-Erum. Weekdays that I don’t work, as much as I can, quite a few hours a night, weekends, I’m normally busy, but when I’m not I’m on most all day.
-I’ve had the game over 6 years now.
4)When are you most active?
-After school when I don’t work, and some weekends.
5) How often do you visit Dapplewood?
-Daily.
6) Provide an example of how you would deal with a dream problem or help request. By this, we mean typing out a response to a scenario listed below and two responses to conflicts/help requests (listed below). You should have realistic foresight to what the problematic or confused visitor would actually say to the persons involved, and what you would say.
Scenarios: Choose one
- Persistent twinking
-Joe Blow pads into the OOC area. And says, “Staff! I need a staff member!” Of course I’d say “Yes, How may I help you.” Joe Blow continues with, “There are some people in the IC area that I killed and they won’t die!” So then I’d respond by asking the others to come to the OOC area with me for a moment, and asking them, “Did Joe Blow kill any of y’alls characters?” And then Frilly Silly steps forward and answers with, “He twinked! So we ignored him.” And then, more than likely, Joe blow would say, “No I didn’t! You just didn’t want to die!” ((Of course these guys wouldn’t have this good of grammar, and might even be typing L337.)) So I ask for the Logs, if they don’t know how to get to the logs I tell them, and I get them and read them, and it turns out Joe Blow was in the wrong. I say, “Joe, you were wrong. You can’t auto kill in DappleWood, and definitely not in masses. It was right of them to ignore you, please read the rules before doing anything questionable in Dapplewood again.”
And then Joe Blow would get mad, and start cussing, so I’d have to ask him to please stop, or I’d be forced to eject him. Or if he didn’t get mad, and just said okay I’d offer to help him RP.
Help requests/conflicts: Choose two.
-Territory/den conflicts
-BallyBrad and BrandySam are arguing over a den. They each storm into the OOC area, and ask for a Staff member. I answer, and find out the problem is a den conflict, they each think they claimed it, and they both need it because their mates are both due in a few days. So I check and it turns out neither one actually own the den. I ask if either of them would like to find a different den to “claim” and both are stubborn and one that one. So I tell them they can either fight for it, roll for it, or I can just take it from both of them. And after the decision is made, one or both will be upset and most likely go find a den in a different dream.
- Out-Of-Character arguments that turns nasty.
-To people are chatting calmly into OOC area. I have to go...shopping or something and by the time I get back the two are screaming and cussing and just wrecking havoc. After a long while I get their attention and ask them to please stop yelling, if they can’t get along just don’t talk, or leave the dream. They choose to not talk and simply set in the OOC area, or they don’t listen to me and continue, and then I warn them I’ll eject them if they don’t stop, and either they stop or I eject them.
