Plot Summary of completed Plot I- The Fall
After a time of peace and joy, darkness began to encroach upon the land set aside by Asla. Creatures appeared, similar in power and form to the Avatars, but opposite in gender and motivation. These Dark Avatars were sent by a force unknown, but were organized into carrying out a very personal vendetta: to destroy the land to which they were sent, to fufill the wishes of their parents.
Graudally, they began to increase in strength. Charismatic and Machivellian leaders, their followers grew in number and grew in strength, some of them becoming dark assistants to their leaders. The Avatars, too, gathered their followers, carefully showing their hostile brand of hospitality to the ursurpers.
Time passed. The strength of the Dark Avatars and of the Moon-Daughters grew, and the string of powers were tensed, ready to snap.
The time came when the proverbial string snapped, breaking in half with a sharp twang as, systematically, the forest was destroyed and the avatars defeated by eachother. They were set from their bodies, loose ghosts of their former selves on the wind, set to be searching for one who was fit to inhabit from birth. Gradually, as a severed thread unravels a bolt of fine fabric, a dark void opened in the center of a forest; in the middle of it was a small chunk of land, one tree growing and remaining upon it. This was where Springmoon confronted Mengsel, and the battle for the end of the world was to commence.
Angry with the demise of her sisters, so near to their return, she attacked Mengsel, who was all too glad to return the favor. The two mighty gods clashed, fighting one another with the elements. Each charged a very mighty attack, hoping that their deadly blasts of energy would annihilate the other being. Mengsel's energy was a dark, screaming, demonic thing; Springmoon's emitted a whistling blast of haunting music. Instead, however, the two screaming, conflicting bodies of energy served to destroy the world, ripping it down to the barest weave, a system of threads in a parallel dimension, originally created to bear the weight of the universe.
Out of nowhere appeared Asla and Najidiius; both came in the guise of normal foxes, Asla shining like the sun and Najidiius crippled, reeking of sulphuric fumes, and emitting a dark, dangerous aura. Both proclaimed their children absolute and complete failures for not completing their missions- Mengsel's to overwhelm and Springmoon to protect. Together the two ancient adversaries, Asla and Najidiius, made some sort of pact, and they dissappeared, apparently to levy some sort of punishment on their children.
Upon Mengsel's foreleg there appeared a bangle of gold, enamelled in swirling colors of fuschia, amethyst, obsidian and white, studded with eyelike gems of a sapphire blue, plechromatic and radiating a sweet purity. Upon the foreleg of Springmoon there appeared a similar bracelet, swirled with colors chocolate, ruby, amber and ebony. Into it were set gems of a sparkling golden topaz, more vibrant than any amber. From both bangles there jutted brackets, as if they were to be attached to a chain.
They detested the ornaments, loose enough so that they did not restrict movement, but impossible to slide or chew off.
Both deities were angered by the failing of their missions, and ready to do at least something to redeem themselves in the eyes of their elders. Set on somehow recovering their respects, they agreed to reweave the world together, planning out the passage of the stars, the flowers, the seasons.
It took two weeks to weave the world again, the world that was beautiful to all and balanced by the presence of two gods, Springmoon, Fair Lady of the North, and Mengsel, Dark Lord of the South.
They plotted their own demise.
